Kickin’ Cancer® vs. “Kicking Cancer”: What’s the Difference?
(And why it matters for women’s health.)
For more than 25 years, Kickin’ Cancer® has been the official women’s cancer–prevention run and wellness expo of the Lynne Cohen Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to preventing breast and ovarian cancer through early detection and community-based care.
Because other cancer events sometimes use similar names, many people understandably ask:
Is “Kicking Cancer” the same as Kickin’ Cancer®?
The answer is no — and here’s why.
Kickin’ Cancer® is a registered trademark.
Kickin’ Cancer® is the legally trademarked name of the Lynne Cohen Foundation’s event.
It represents our long-standing commitment to:
preventing breast and ovarian cancer
supporting women at increased risk
funding LCF national preventive care clinics
advancing early detection and education
building community through movement, health, and hope
We are not affiliated with organizations or websites using the phrase “kicking cancer” or variations of our name.
Why the distinction matters
Women searching for:
