Kickin’ Cancer is Los Angeles’ signature women’s cancer prevention run — a 5K and 10K supporting early detection and genetic counseling for breast and ovarian cancer through the Lynne Cohen Foundation.

What the Kickin’ Cancer Run Supports

Every mile helps save lives by supporting the Lynne Cohen Foundation Preventive Care Clinics in Los Angeles and NYC. These clinics provide essential services such as free mammograms, genetic testing, and counseling to low-income women at increased risk of breast and ovarian cancer.

By participating in Kickin’ Cancer, you help ensure that women who might otherwise face financial barriers can access the preventive care they need. Join us as we run, raise funds, and go the distance to kick cancer to the curb while empowering women in our community with life-saving resources!

How Kickin’ Cancer! Funds Lynne Cohen FOundation Preventive Care Clinics

Kickin’ Cancer helps fund L ynne Cohen Preventive Care Clinics across the country: highly specialized, innovative women's care facilities located at USC, Bellevue Hospital, and NYU, uniting research, screening, and clinical care for women who are at increased risk for breast and ovarian cancer. Patients receive comprehensive cross-disciplinary care and have access to some of the latest clinical trials, genetic testing, and psychosocial counseling.

Kickin’ Cancer is Los Angeles’ signature women’s cancer prevention run. The event brings together runners, walkers, and families for a 5K and 10K that raise funds for early detection and genetic risk assessment programs through the Lynne Cohen Foundation.
The run takes place in Brentwood, Los Angeles, beginning at San Vicente Boulevard and featuring a post-race Women’s Wellness Expo with local partners and preventive health resources.
Proceeds directly fund the Lynne Cohen Foundation’s national network of preventive care clinics, which provide genetic counseling, breast and gynecologic screening, risk assessment, and long-term follow-up for women at increased risk of breast and ovarian cancer.
