The Lynne Cohen Foundation's 7th Annual New York Benefit Event was held Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Fred's At Barneys New York to honor the generosity of our donors and the courage of the women we serve. Proceeds from the event benefit the Lynne Cohen Preventive Care Programs for Women's Cancers established at prestigious cancer centers around the country. View photos from the event.
LCF is honored to recognize Amy Coe, the 2010 Woman of Change Award recipient, for her commitment to the Foundation, her dedication to empowering women, and for her participation in projects that support cancer and other healthcare initiatives. Amy Coe has created “Tribute”, a one-of-a-kind piece of art that is functional, inspiring, colorful and affordable – like all of Amy’s designs. A portion of the proceeds from the painting will benefit LCF. To view and purchase the painting, please visit lynnecohenfoundation.org/amycoe.
LCF is pleased to honor Michelle Shepard, the 2010 Courageous Spirit Award recipient. Michelle began her visits to the Lynne Cohen High Risk Clinic at Bellevue Hospital in 2004. Her family history of breast cancer first caused her to reach out to us and she has continued regular screening visits since. Michelle is a friend and someone who we expect to care for and serve for many years to come.
